Tool 1: Get Started

This chronicles my journey through the 11 Tools training. Setting up this blog was very easy and took only a few minutes. I did not face any challenges with the process. I have a more established blog of the same name at that catalogs some of the things I have done in my classroom during the 2011-12 school year.

More to come after June 4th.

  1. I snooped around your other blog and it is pretty interesting! I encourage others to take a peak as well. Love the sidewalk chalk activity!

  2. I am so impressed with your other blog. How did you go about getting the domain name? It's not even using a pre-fabbed blog maker or anything! I read your "about" section, and I hope you realize that this firmly establishes you as my go-to technology person for when I have a question (but don't worry, I'm mostly tech-saavy... kind of).

  3. Registering a name is easy, you just go through a service. I used to do so. The site is pre-fab, but you can tweak just about everything so no one thinks it's pre-fab. It's run through a company called Square Space (

  4. Jonathan,
Great blog! I will definitely send people read your blog!
